Lalu calls Modi 'Indian Trump', slams Centre for presenting Budget despite Ahamed's death

RJD chief Lalu Prasad has slammed the Modi government for presenting the Union Budget on February 1 despite sitting senior IUML MP E Ahamed's death.

HERE'S WHAT LALU SAID

  1. Speaking exclusively to India Today, Lalu said that the Centre had set a wrong precedence by not adjourning the proceedings to the Parliament after sitting IUML MP's death and going ahead with presentation of the Union Budget.

  2. "E Ahamed was a senior leader of the House and the proceedings today should have been adjourned. Presentation of Budget today shows insensitive and inhuman side of the government", said Lalu Prasad.

  3. Reacting to the Budget, RJD chief said that the Budget which was presented by Union Finance Minister was empty promises and there was nothing for the poor. Calling PM Modi as "Indian Trump", the RJD supremo said Centre should have highlighted in the Budget what has been the impact of de-monetisation of country's economy and how much black money was Centre successful in unearthing.

  4. "There has been huge loss to the economy because of demonetisation. In the Budget, the Centre should have spoken about how much black money was recovered after demonetisation", said Lalu Prasad. "Modi is Indian Trump. Both are trouble makers" said Lalu Prasad.
